Infinite Bounds: Women in Art through the Decades Opens April 18 in the Juliet Art Museum
CHARLESTON, WV (April 15, 2026) – The Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia invites the community to experience Infinite Bounds: Women in Art through the Decades, a new exhibition opening Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Juliet Art Museum.
Drawing from the Clay Center’s permanent collection alongside select featured works, Infinite Bounds celebrates the creativity, innovation, and impact of women artists across generations. Spanning multiple decades and artistic styles, the exhibition highlights the diverse voices and perspectives that have shaped the art world.
“Infinite Bounds is a celebration of art across generations that we are proud to have pulled directly from our permanent collection,” says Lindsay Miranda, Curator of Art and Engagement at the Clay Center. “This exhibition invites our community to reflect on the lasting impact of these artists and to discover new perspectives that continue to shape the cultural landscape.”
Infinite Bounds: Women in Art through the Decades will be on view in the Juliet Art Museum through Sunday, September 13, 2026.

This exhibition is presented with support from the Bernard H. & Blanche E. Jacobson Foundation, Charles M. and Joan R. Taylor Foundation in Memory of Caroline Prewitt Jennings, Daywood Foundation, The Elliot Family Foundation, Fund for the Arts, and Herscher Foundation, Inc. The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
