Clay Center’s Discover Engineering Day Highlights Local Innovation and Future Career Pathways
CHARLESTON, WV (February 12, 2026) – The Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of WV invites families and curious minds of all ages to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math during Discover Engineering Day on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
This interactive, community wide event will showcase the many branches of engineering through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and exhibits presented by local engineering firms, colleges, universities, and community organizations. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet professionals in the field, learn how engineers solve real-world problems, and discover potential pathways to a future in STEM.

Discover Engineering Day is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and problem solving while highlighting the important role engineering plays in our daily lives and in the future of our region.
