Storytime Theater: Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me by Eric Carle

Step into the spotlight at Storytime Theater! This playful, performance-based program takes place in the My Town Theater, where stories come to life on stage and imagination takes center stage.

Through dramatic storytelling, props, and audience participation, kids transform into characters, create sound effects, and help the plot unfold right on stage. Every month features a new tale brought to life with imagination and movement.

Get ready to leap, stretch, and soar into Eric Carle’s magical world with Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me! Follow Monica’s BIG dream as she asks her dad for one impossible thing — the moon itself! Kids will giggle, gasp, and join the adventure as the moon grows, shrinks, and shimmers its way across the sky in this heart-warming, sky-high tale.

Ideal for ages 3–8, but all are welcome. Free with museum admission.
