Book of the Week: Penguin and Pinecone by Selina Yoon

This week’s BookBuds Storytime features Penguin and Pinecone by Salina Yoon, a tender tale about friendship, care, and helping others grow.

When Penguin finds a chilly little pinecone far from home, he nurtures it lovingly before realizing Pinecone must return to the forest to thrive. Though they part ways, their friendship continues to bloom in the sweetest way.

This engaging, drop-in program encourages early literacy, fine motor skills, and caregiver connection, all in our Interactive Art Space located in the Juliet Art Museum, a warm and welcoming environment perfect for young learners.

After the story, stick around for a Penguin Waddle Race inspired by Penguin and his beloved Pinecone friend!

Ideal for ages 1–6, but all are welcome. Free with museum admission.
