Pop Art Collage Printmaking Workshop
You love their posters, and now you can learn hand-carving techniques from the artists themselves! Join Emily and Betsy Sokolosky of Basecamp Printing Co. for this hands-on workshop that invites participants to explore the playful spirit of Andy Warhol through printmaking.
Guests will layer scrap materials using traditional collage techniques to build bold, colorful backgrounds, then finish their prints by letterpressing with vintage type and image blocks. The result is a one-of-a-kind Pop Art–inspired collage print that celebrates experimentation, reuse, and the graphic language of Warhol’s era.
All experience levels are welcome, but children under 10 to be accompanied by an adult. Limited space available; advanced registration required. Questions? Please call our Box Office at 304-561-3570 or email JulietArtMuseum@theclaycenter.org.
