NASA Day
NASA Day is returning to the Clay Center October 1st from 9AM - 1:30PM
NASA Day offers hands-on learning experiences that engage students in a variety of STEM concepts. Students will be able to participate in STEM workshops with professionals from across the state and learn about the formation of Earth in a showing at the Caperton Planetarium and Theater. Caitlin Ahrens, Assistant Research Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, will also be joining us for a keynote presentation.
This event, recommended to students grade 6-8 is free to attend but registration is required. Register by emailing groupreservations@theclaycenter.org.
Due to limited space, smaller groups under 50 students will be given first priority.
Travel grants are available for those that need assistance.
