John Inghram’s Family Recipe | Emerging Artist Series

John Inghram’s Family Recipe brings together some of Appalachia’s most celebrated musicians for an evening that feels like home. With performances by Fletcher’s Grove, the Bob Thompson Unit, the John Inghram Band, William Matheny, Maggie Noelle, and Ryan Allen, audiences will experience the perfect blend of groove, soul, and storytelling. This musical “family recipe” highlights the deep roots and bright future of West Virginia’s vibrant music scene.

Charleston native John Inghram is no stranger to West Virginia audiences. As a longtime bassist with the Bob Thompson Unit and frequent performer on NPR’s Mountain Stage, Inghram has shared the stage with national acts while carving out his own sound. Now, he steps into the spotlight with original music that blends vintage psychedelic rock with fresh, modern energy.

The Emerging Artist Series is presented thanks to support from Roger L. Nicholson, The ROQ, Spriggs Distributing Co., and Friends of Clay Center. The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
