Ghosts, vampires, and ghouls… OH MY! Join us for a chillingly fun day at the Clay Center’s Halloween Ghoul Gala, filled with exciting activities for all ages. Take on miniature pumpkin tower challenges, get creative with spooky crafts, dance with ghosts, and show off your hauntingly best look at our larger-than-life costume party and parade! Come dressed to impress in your Halloween attire and be part of a scare-tacular celebration you won’t want to miss!

What to Expect:

Pumpkin Patch Towers 🎃
Put your engineering skills to the test! Build the tallest tower you can using the materials provided - but make sure it can hold a pumpkin without collapsing! The tallest, strongest tower wins a pumpkin figurine to take home from our “pumpkin patch.”

Creepin’ Crafts 👻
Let your imagination run wild! Create your very own scarecrow or Frankenstein using a variety of fun materials. Want an extra challenge? Try adding tissue paper for a spooky, textured effect!

Boo Bags 🕸️
Design your own trick-or-treat bag! Decorate a paper “Boo Bag” with colorful supplies to carry all your candy and prizes as you explore the museum.

Witches’ Brew Slime 🧪
Get your hands gooey with this fun sensory activity! Make your own “Witches’ Brew” floam slime and customize it with unique add-ins to make it extra magical.

Dancing Ghosts 👻
Mix up a little Halloween science! Combine simple ingredients to spark a fizzy chemical reaction that makes “ghosts” dance in a spooky lava-lamp effect.

Monster Mash Bash 🎶 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
It’s time to dance like a monster! Join us for a Halloween dance party featuring all your favorite spooky tunes, including Thriller! Stick around for a round of zombie tag during the fun.

Costume Parade 🎭 | 2:00 PM
Show off your Halloween style! The parade begins at 2 PM and will march through the museum before leading right into the Monster Mash Bash - so don’t forget your best costume!
