Early Explorers - Reach for the Stars by Emily Calandrelli and Honee Jang

Dream big and reach for the stars! Inspired by Reach for the Stars, children will celebrate curiosity, big ideas, and the exciting possibilities of space exploration. After our reading, little creators will design their own shooting stars using paper, cardboard, tissue paper, and other craft materials. Through colorful construction and imaginative design, children will explore shapes, movement, and the wonders of the night sky.

Early Explorers invites our youngest Explorers to discover the world through stories, music, play, and hands-on activities! Each month features a new theme with engaging experiences designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and introduce early learning concepts.

Ideal for ages 1–6, but all are welcome. Free with museum admission.

Early Explorers may not occur on select dates due to special events or programming. Please speak with the Box Office upon arrival for the most up-to-date schedule.
