Early Explorers - Goodnight Sun by Eoin Mclaughlin and Morag Hood

Say hello to the sun and explore the changing sky with Goodnight Sun! Young learners will discover how the sun helps us tell time and introduces the transition between day and night. After our story, children will make their own paper plate sundials and explore how the sun's position can help us track time. It's a playful introduction to observation, patterns, and the science of our everyday sky.

Early Explorers invites our youngest Explorers to discover the world through stories, music, play, and hands-on activities! Each month features a new theme with engaging experiences designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and introduce early learning concepts.

Ideal for ages 1–6, but all are welcome. Free with museum admission.

Early Explorers may not occur on select dates due to special events or programming. Please speak with the Box Office upon arrival for the most up-to-date schedule.
