Dirty Birds Day | Family Fun Day
Step up to the plate for a day of big-league fun at the Clay Center! Celebrate the opening of our newly renovated Pitching Cage exhibit (brought to the Clay Center thanks to the generous support of the Charleston Dirty Birds) with baseball-themed activities for the whole family. Meet players from the Dirty Birds, design your own baseball cap, create action-packed artwork, and build a mascot puppet to cheer on your team. It’s a full day of creativity, movement, and museum magic—perfect for fans of all ages.
What to Expect⚾

Pitch, Catch & Chat with the Pros
Meet the Dirty Birds, snap a photo, and try your hand at pitching and catching with real pros.
Dirty Birds Mascot: DIY Dusty Puppet
Create your own “Dusty” puppet using paper templates, craft supplies, and popsicle sticks. Perfect for cheering from the stands!
