Bre Kennedy with Abbie McAllister | Emerging Artist Series

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Bre Kennedy brings her powerful live show to the stage, fresh off the release of her fourth studio album, The Alchemist. Featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and Today’s Singer-Songwriters, Bre has quickly become one of the brightest voices rising out of the New Nashville scene.

Known for headlining sold-out shows at iconic venues like Exit/In, The Basement East, and The Blue Room, Bre has also shared stages with artists like NEEDTOBREATHE, Stephen Wilson Jr., The Paper Kites, Joy Oladokun, and Sheryl Crow at the legendary Ryman Auditorium. Whether commanding a headline set or captivating a packed theater crowd, her performances are intimate, electric, and unforgettable.

Opening the evening is West Virginia’s own Abbie McAllister, a rising singer-songwriter whose journey began on small-town porches and farm pop-ups before reaching revered regional stages like The Purple Fiddle and 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown. In 2025, Abbie made her Nashville debut at WesternAF’s “WesternAF Review” during AmericanaFest and recently released her LiveAF EP, including her moving original single Jester.

The Emerging Artist Series is presented thanks to support from Roger L. Nicholson, The ROQ Bar and Lounge, Spriggs Distributing Co., and Friends of Clay Center. The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
