(Charleston, W.Va.) 06/05/17- The Clay Center is going to party like its “1999” during a birthday celebration for Prince on June 10th at 7 p.m. DJ Anthony Lewis will begin the festivities in the Juliet Art Museum with a high energy Prince Tribute that will have you ready to dance!
While the music brings the memory of Prince to life, guests have the opportunity to enjoy an beverage at the cash bar featuring a special “Purple Rain Cocktail”.
The celebration will continue with a showing of the Academy Award winning film “Purple Rain” in the Caperton Planetarium and Theater. Be sure to beat the crowd and arrive early then “Let’s Go Crazy” celebrating the legendary icon. Costumes, singing, and dancing are encouraged!
Tickets are $10 per person and are available now at tickets.theclaycenter.org. “Purple Rain” is rated R and any person under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
