(Charleston, W.Va.) 7/17/2017 – Science has taken over the Clay Center with stimulating activities for our soon to be scientists!   Our Girl’s Science Summer Camp runs from July 17th to July 21st and brings the world of science right to the hands of the kids.  The girls will be experimenting with algae to study the effects of the ecosystem equilibrium and will even study their own genes using microscopes and Petri dishes.

That’s not all that our little lady scientists get to explore!  They will create individual moving sculptures and recreate the human digestive system.  Girl’s Science camp provides a fun and unique twist to learning with hands on experiments.  Discovery Leaders are there every step of the way to show our campers that science doesn’t have to be all that serious!
