We’re keeping things merry and bright all the way up to New Year’s—with more than a month’s worth of festive events at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia!
Our holiday season starts Friday, Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. with our “Holly Days” Kick Off Event, featuring a visit from Santa Claus himself. Patrons will also be able to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate bar, make ornaments in our Inventor’s Lab, use block printing to design holiday cards in our Art Studio, and create a cardboard house to add to our gingerbread display of Charleston.
Later in the season, we’ll present symphonies, “The Nutcracker” ballet, and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: the Musical.” You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to create lifelong holiday memories with your little ones, whether you’re interested in our winter STEAM lab or our PG “Noon Year’s Eve,” featuring an apple juice toast and an epic dance party.
Certain events will be ticketed, while access to others will be included in daily admission to the Clay Center.
But no matter how you choose to celebrate, rest assured we have something for everyone.
Enjoy hot cocoa throughout the holiday season at the Curiosity Café.
