Spring Fling Saturdays!
Every Saturday in April
11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Every Saturday in April will see a Springtime celebration of arts and sciences at the Clay Center!  Drop-in to participate in the egg drop engineering challenge and see if you can figure out how to keep an egg intact as we launch them from the museum lobby to the level below!

You can also learn all about April Showers with water cycle-inspired activities in the Susan Runyan Maier Sculpture Garden.  If art is your interest, bring your egg decorating skills to a new level by learning about the Ukrainian Pysanka egg decorating tradition during art workshops in the Truist Foundation Art Studio.

Spring Fling at the Clay Center will also see the return of regular astronomy shows in the Caperton Planetarium and Theater as a live presenter takes audiences on a guided tour of the Spring skies!  Get ready to spring in to the fun every Saturday in April!

Spring Fling activities are included with admission to the Clay Center and are presented with support from Children’s Dentistry of Charleston.

11:00-4:00 PM – Egg Decorating in the Truist Art Studio
