Join the Clay Center in celebration of International Blues Music Day!
All three floors of the Center will come alive with the sounds of music celebrating International Blues Music Day! On this day we will join other organizations across the world in celebrating, promoting, and preserving the rich legacy, tradition, and future of the great American art form and international language known as blues music. Featured artists to include:

Lady D presents Bessie’s Blues at 12:00pm and 2:00pm
This one woman show celebrates the life of blues legend Bessie Smith

Ron Sowell & Friends 11:00am & 1:00pm

Additional support has been provided by the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame – The WV Music Hall of Fame’s Traveling Museum will also be available to the public from 11:00am – 4:00pm

All activities are included in the cost of admission to the Center; $9 for adults and $7.50 for children. Clay Center members are FREE!
