Friends of Clay is thrilled to host the 3rd annual Friends of Clay 5k in partnership with Shoes That Fit! Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our community and team. So, in alignment with current state regulations, this year’s race is going virtual!
Our Virtual Race will run from August 17 to August 30 and you choose your location, day, time and socially distant running partners! Challenge your friends, family and neighbors to join in on the fun and raise critical funds for the Clay Center’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) education programs as well as our wonderful partner, Shoes That Fit!
Runners, sponsors and supporters of the cause have the option to donate shoes at $25/pair. And, thanks to a matching gift, all donations up to $25,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar. With your help, up to 2,000 West Virginia schoolchildren could receive new shoes this year!

Pricing: $30/runner; virtual race registration will also include a $10 discount coupon for our May 22, 2021 in-person race!

How to receive your race swag:
Pickup during regular Museum hours in September
(Tentatively TUE-SAT 9/14-9/25 from 10:00AM-12:30PM or 1:30PM-4:00PM)
