In honor of Earth Day, we’ll be focusing on conservation and global biodiversity! Visit the Susan Runyan Maier Sculpture Garden to see what’s blooming or hear a talk from a local ecologist. Drop by the Art Studio in the Juliet Art Museum to learn techniques for sustainable paper and ink making. You’ll also find educators in the Avampato Discovery Museum showcasing highlights from our collections of animal skulls, eggshells, and other natural wonders. For Earth Day only, we’ll also be showing the breathtaking film “The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness” in the Caperton Planetarium & Theater.
