Hear from four WV artists featured in our Juliet Art Museum Invitational Exhibition during a panel discussion at 6 pm on January 12! Barrie Kaufman, Robby Moore, Seth Pitt and Kimberly Joy Trathen will join Curator Liz Simmons for a discussion about how life in WV influences their work, drawing on the landscape, traditions and peoples of our state.

These artists work in sculpture, printmaking, illustration, painting, and textiles. Some are stimulated by the mountainous, wooded landscape and the renewal that being in nature brings, and how we can work toward conserving nature. Others seem inspired by the craft traditions of the region, including practices passed down through families and mentors. Many artists draw encouragement from the rich creative communities here, inspired by the support of fellow makers.
