Art After Dark
Monthly, Following Downtown Charleston Art Walk
7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Following Downtown Charleston Art Walk on October 20th, enjoy an evening of art, entertainment, and interactive fun in the Juliet Art Museum! Join us for State Night in the art museum as we open new exhibition Chroma Chronology: West Virginia State University Collaborative Exhibition, curated in partnership with the students in WVSU’s Arts Management capstone course! Guests will enjoy live jazz from State alumni and instructor Phil Washington along with Steve Himes, and WVSU’s art club MONA will lead us in an interactive activity! The party continues outside in the Susan Runyan Maier Sculpture Garden where you can check out two newly installed sculptures and stargaze with members of our education team!

This FREE Art After Dark event is presented with support from AARP of West Virginia. The Clay Center’s performing arts and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts. The Clay Center salutes Fund for the Arts and the following major donors to Fund for the Arts whose annual gifts of $10,000 or more help all the arts thriving in our area: City of Charleston, Cecil I. Walker Charitable Foundation, Daywood Foundation, Spilman, Thomas & Battle PLLC.
