technical information
The ElectricSky™ Theater transports visitors to distant stars and planets of our solar system during planetarium shows.
The theater houses a star-ball with more than 10,000 stars as the theater’s centerpiece, filling the domed screen with the night sky. Planetarium shows last approximately 45 minutes. All shows include a live, seasonal star talk.
Jupiter: Planetary Giant
Through Sept. 2
Travel to the outer reaches of our solar system for a tour of giant Jupiter and the Jovian system in this exciting Clay Center production! Explore how different this massive gas giant planet is from Earth's closest neighbors and learn about the many unique characteristics of Jupiter’s moons.
Harvest Skies
Returning September 5
Take a look at the stories and constellations of the fall skies with this original Clay Center production. Harvest Skies will also look at the astronomical origins of the “cross-quarter day” which has now come to be known as Halloween!
