Clay Center will visit the Capitol Market on Saturdays, April 16th, June 18th, August 20th and September 17th for live science demonstrations and intriguing curiosity stations.
 
Saturday, June 18
12 – 4pm
Summer is all about keepin’ it cool and we’re doing just that with SCIENCE at the Capitol Market!  Discover how to lower the freezing point of water to create a slushy without using a freezer!  Make snow in the heat and play with the power of air. 
 
Saturday, August 20th
12 – 4pm
Go back to school with science skills that are sure to amaze!  Watch as ink vanishes before your eyes, build an incredibly strong structure using a single sheet of paper and create unique works of art with acids and bases!
 
Saturday, September 17th
Fall into science at Capitol Market!  Create Gak that has a strong magnetic attraction, make your hair stand on end and delve into marshmallow engineering.
