A holiday exhibit tradition offering fun for all ages with whimsically designed and decorated trees and original artworks by emerging West Virginia artists!

Join us for a global celebration in this Clay Center production. Explore the origins of the world’s holiday celebrations and traditions, many of which have their roots in the stars and stories of the nighttime sky.

Enjoy special activities and programs each Saturday, noon – 4 pm, during the month of December!
December 1: Global Greeting Cards – Learn how to say happy holidays in different languages and make a card to share with someone this holiday season.
December 8: Paper Ornaments – Get creative as we use paper and recyclable materials to create unique ornaments.
December 15: Big Candy Mountain – Stop by and add a piece of candy to this interactive display.
December 22: Joyful Noise! – Create a seasonal sound shaker and shake, rattle and roll your way into the holidays and New Year!

Journey around the globe with this exciting series of hands-on crafts! Each day kids will be able to make a fun craft and learn something fascinating about a different culture.

Holiday Hours
The Clay Center will follow its normal hours of operation with the following exception:
Clay Center box office will close at 3 pm on Monday December 24 and Monday, December 31. Box office will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th and Tuesday, January 1st.
