Charleston, W. Va. Rock to some of the biggest hits of the ‘80s when Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo take the Clay Center stage Sunday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. Be blown away by fiery vocals and fierce guitar riffs as you sing along to legendary singles like “Love is a Battlefield,” “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” and “We Belong.”
A rock ‘n’ roll staple for more than three decades, Benatar emerged during the dawn of MTV with a rebellious, fearless and defiant attitude that broke rules and pushed boundaries. She married her lead guitarist, producer and co-writer Giraldo in 1982, and the two have continued their musical legacy while raising two daughters.
Their latest tour is generating rave reviews and phenomenal headlines, as the husband and wife bring audiences to their feet with incredible raw talent and obvious chemistry.
This performance is part of the Clay Center Presents fall 2012 performance season sponsored by BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company and Roger Nicholson.
Single tickets for this and other Clay Center Presents fall 2012 performances, including Wayne Brady, Philadanco and Charleston Light Opera Guild in “Hello, Dolly!,” are on sale now.
