We are looking for enthusiastic people to help us assist school children and families who visit our galleries. Art Docents give guided tours of the Museum's changing art exhibitions for groups ranging in age from pre-school to senior citizens. Special training sessions are provided for each art exhibit. Cranium Cadets:
Attention Teenagers! Need community service hours and want a fun place to earn them?
The Avampato Discovery Museum are looking for Cranium Cadets, youth volunteers ages 13 – 17. Cranium Cadets provide important visitor services to the Museum’s guests. They facilitate visitors with the exhibits, assist with special events and present art and science cart demonstrations. For information, please email the volunteer coordinator.
Ushers:
Take tickets Seat patrons Distribute programs Provide assistance to patrons with special needs - For information, email the volunteer coordinator.
Serve as public relations ambassadors for the Center Lead exciting and educational tours for groups and individuals Expand “your” knowledge while teaching others
Provide general office support to administrative staff Demonstrate knowledge in your field of expertise
