Clay Center Awarded 4-Star Rating By Charity Navigator
The Clay Center is the only non-profit organization in West Virginia to receive Charity Navigator’s coveted 4-star rating for sound fiscal management. This is the second year in a row that the Center has achieved this exceptional designation assessed by the nation’s premier independent charity evaluator.
Charity Navigator works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of more than 5,400 of America's largest charities. Forbes, Business Week, and Kiplinger's Financial Magazine, among others, have profiled and celebrated their unique method of applying data-driven analysis to the charitable sector.
Ken Berger, Charity Navigator’s President & Chief Executive Officer, had this to say, “Only 20 percent of the charities we rate have received at least 2 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that the Clay Center consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America.”
