Art Docents:

Share your passion! Make a difference! Become an Art Docent*!

We are looking for enthusiastic people to help us assist school children and families who visit our galleries. Art Docents give guided tours of the Museum's changing art exhibitions for groups ranging in age from pre-school to senior citizens. Special training sessions are provided for each art exhibit. For information, please email the volunteer coordinator.

*There is a $15 one-time application fee to be paid upon orientation.

As a volunteer, you are not eligible to report a claim against the Clay Center's Worker's Compensation policy if you should be injured while performing your volunteer duties. I hereby certify that the answers given by me to the forgoing questions and the statements made by me are true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that by signing this document I give permission for the references I have listed to be contacted by a representative of the Clay Center. I also understand that my application may be dismissed, or my volunteer activities can be terminated if it becomes clear that I have made false statements or misrepresentations on this application.
