Guest Services Representative (part-time)
$8.25 - $8.75/per hour
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide all guests with a positive initial experience at the Clay Center. This experience is created by providing guests with accurate event information, assisting them in purchasing and/or picking up tickets to Clay Center events as well as daily museum admission. This position interacts with a variety of constituents and works with all other staff of the Clay Center & WV Symphony Orchestra to maintain a high level of guest service. Community Learning Center Team Leader
This position will assist site coordinator with overseeing students (grades 6-12) who attend The Clay Center’s after school 21st Century Community Learning sites in certain Boone County Schools (Madison Middle School, Sherman Jr. High School, and Van Jr./Sr. High School). Team Leaders will primarily spend time assisting their assigned team. Team Leaders will be assigned to a team of students and begin each after school session talking with the students about their day and then determining what the students homework needs are for each evening. Team leaders will maintain tracking logs to record academic progress of each student and steer them to the appropriate academic remediation software, and tutor as needed. Team Leaders will lead group instructional activities and assist students with completion of daily/weekly homework assignment or tutoring sessions as needed. E-mail resume and three references to Community Learning Center Team Leader.
