Science and the scientific method are important tools for understanding the natural world, and in science it is important that intelligence and truth are held dear. In art, on the other hand, we can be much more free, and sometimes being experimental expands our knowledge of materials and how they interact with one another. Experimenting means embracing failure and allows us to takes risks and make new breakthroughs in order to find success.

This workshop invites participants of all ages to use a mix of art materials and found objects – along with imagination and courage to make ‘experimental science’ by constructing science-fiction based sculptural objects. Expect failure and fun in the process.

This will be an all-ages workshop for $5/person. It will be on Saturday May 27th at 12pm.
