Art Workshops (grades K – 5)
A fun and interactive way for your students to study artwork.  Students will study a selection from our permanent collection and learn about the art-making process, basic elements of art, and examination and actually create their own piece of artwork.  All workshops are based on West Virginia Content Standards and Objectives.  

Student Workshops (grades K – 8)
Looking for a great way for students to learn while still having fun?  Bring your whole class for one of our hands-on Student Workshops!  We will get Inside Your Head learning about the human brain, see physics in action while playing with Toys or meet our scaly animal friends in a live animal workshop.  All workshops last approximately 45 minutes and are only an additional $2 per student.  


INSIDE YOUR HEAD (Available on Wednesdays) - Discover the wonders of the human brain with this fun, interactive workshop.

TOYS IN SPACE (Available on Thursdays) - See physics in action and have an out-of-this world time!

REPTILES REVEALED (Available on Fridays) - Get up close and personal as we take a look at our scaly animal friends in this live-animal workshop.

Included in gallery admission, make sure you sign your group up for these FREE 30 minute interactive science shows. Wednesdays - The Science of Sound; Thursdays - Rules of the Game; Fridays - Whiz, Bang BOOM!
