All Day Fair
If a field trip to the Clay Center isn’t possible, let us bring an entire day’s worth of great activities to you and your school. Students will visit our inflatable STARLAB planetarium, learn about the inner workings of the human body with STUFFEE, our health science mascot, and see your choice of any of our other exciting workshop options.

STARLAB, K—12 (45 min.)
Our most popular outreach program, STARLAB is a portable, inflatable planetarium that seats 20 to 25 people and allows schools to meet many state content standards in science, math and social studies. Topics available are Solar System and Galaxy, African Mythology and Plate Tectonics.
*STARLAB is also available for rental - call for details

STUFFEE Health Science, K—6 (45 min.)
Meet Stuffee, the Museum's health mascot – a big, blue-haired, unzippable character that shows the amazing inner–workings of the human body. This is a kid-friendly anatomy lesson with a dose of nutrition thrown in. Stuffee helps us see what really happens to our food after we swallow!

Build-It!– This program shows how fun engineering can really be! We’ll challenge your students to build a free-standing structure using the most minimal of components to address the question: What makes a material strong?
Chemical Reactions – See a live science show full of fun experiments and top off the program with an experiment at your own table! Wow!
