Avampato Learning is an exciting art education resource is designed to help teachers address visual arts curriculum standards and objectives through user-friendly art experiences. Based on works from the Museum’s permanent collection of art, these exciting activities provide ample opportunities for you to make cross-curricular connections to math, science, language arts and social studies. These art experiences are fun, easy to implement, content rich and a great way to expose your students to the Museum’s dynamic collection.
The Avampato Discovery Museum houses a collection of nearly 800 objects consisting primarily of 19th, 20th and 21st century American art. Almost all records of these objects are now available online.
