Stuffee’s Kitchen
CSO's
Program Summary:
Stuffee, the Clay Center ’s health science mascot, is a great way to teach students about the human body and nutrition. Our Stuffee distance learning program consists of two parts – a Stuffee’s Kitchen show with interactive question and answer session and an on-site activity in which students create their own “Insides on the Outside” apron with the organs of the digestive system. Stuffee’s Kitchen program may also be complemented by skeletal system overview for older students or by special request. The program also comes with a set of activities the on-site coordinator can do with the class either pre- or post-Stuffee.
Program Outline:
1. Stuffee’s Kitchen show (digestive system) from the Clay Center.
2. Interactive question and answer session at conclusion of show.
3. Review of digestive organs and creation of “Insides on the Outside” apron by students on-site.
4. Skeletal system overview may be added for older students or by special request.
