Another sell-out year is expected. Order your tickets today! Purchase online or call 304-561-3570.

This is the first year Friends of Clay Center has highlighted a “science” theme. The timing couldn’t be more perfect with the Caperton Planetarium and Theater renovations and new Ashton’s Climbing Sculpture which allows children to explore and experience the museum space from dizzying new heights. As musicians, visual artists, performers, designers, builders, explorers and scientists have looked to the heavens with wonder for ages, so will you at Carnaval SUPERNOVA!

Entertainment ALL night. ALL over.
The Celebrity Allstars – Participatory painting with acclaimed local artist Ian Bode – Charleston Ballet – Caperton Planetarium & Theater Experience featuring Vinyl Village – EJ Price, Bravo Live DJ – The Rocket Man Tribute featuring Mark Parsons as Elton John – Stellar surprises!
Official after party at Sam’s Uptown Café.

Grab a brush and paint alongside Ian Bode to help him finish an original Supernova-themed painting. You can also buy raffle tickets at Carnaval ($20 each or 6/$100) for a chance to take this one-of-a-kind (5’ x 5’) work on canvas (and, priceless keepsake!) home with you!

Buy a limited-edition, artist-signed and numbered 11” x 14” print for just $45. Only 100 prints will be sold; pre-order your print here.

*You do not have to attend Carnaval to purchase limited-edition print but you do to buy a raffle ticket!

Enjoy an open bar, complimentary valet parking and more as you dance the night away. Taste out-of-this world hors d’eouvres and bid on astronomical auction items at this highly-anticipated event. The online auction opens January 20.

Black tie optional or creative cocktail attire. Visit the 2017 Style Look Book on Pinterest for inspiration!
