The Clay Center has a wide variety of beautiful spaces available to rent.  We can accommodate the smallest gathering to groups of 1,800.

Standard Rate:     $2,300 daily
Nonprofit Rate:    $2,000 daily
 Option One includes:

* Premium Rate pertains to Friday, Saturday and Sunday rentals, as well as holidays.    

OPTION TWO
Premium Rate:    $5,000 daily
Standard Rate:    $4,000 daily
Nonprofit Rate:   $4,000 daily
 Option Two includes:
    Benedum Grand Lobby
    MFPH Orchestra Level
    MFPH First Balcony
    MFPH Upper Balcony
    PAC Loading Dock
    Dressing Rooms (1-5 based on availability)
  
OPTION THREE
Premium Rate:    $6,000 daily
Standard Rate:    $5,000 daily
Nonprofit Rate:   $4,500 daily
 Option Three includes:
    Benedum Grand Lobby
    MFPH Orchestra Level
    MFPH First Balcony
    MFPH Upper Balcony
    PAC Loading Dock
    Dressing Rooms (1-5 based on availability)
    Women’s Chorus Room
    Men’s Chorus Room
    Orchestra Assembly Room
    Performer’s Lounge
    Office for visiting companies

A special rehearsal only rate applies to Nonprofit organizations:  $900*
     * For MFPH main stage only

• Fees are by the day, although in some circumstances multiple users per day will be allowed (at no discount) when the scheduling permits.
• Fees do not include the use of WVSO piano or other WVSO equipment or piano tuning services.
• Fees do not include catering services
• Additional fees may apply for:
  • Rental of tables and chairs
  • Room setup and take down
  • House management and security services
  • House technical services
  • IATSE labor costs
  • Rental of equipment
  • Ticketing services
  • Ushers
  • Charleston Fire Department

Flexible Seating (Maximum 200)

Nonprofit Rate*:   $300

Founders’ Lounge    

Commercial Rate:    $750
Standard Rate:        $600
Nonprofit Rate:        $350

• A four-hour minimum is required. The cost of additional hours over the minimum is based on a per-hour rate.
• Fees do not include catering services or the rental of tables and chairs.

Premium Rate:    $1,600
Standard Rate:    $1,200
Nonprofit Rate:    $800

Classrooms

Standard Rate:    $100 (per two-hour minimum)

• A two-hour minimum is required. Rates are based per classroom
• Classrooms are rented “as is” with one standard setup.

Performer’s Lounge

Premium Rate:    $150
Standard Rate:    $100
Nonprofit Rate:    $50

• Fees are based on a two-hour minimum.

Clark Performance Place Terrace

One Hour Premium Rate:    $75
One Hour Standard Rate:    $38

• The Terrace may not be rented if functions are already scheduled in Maier Foundation Hall or Benedum Grand Lobby.
