Join the Clay Center for some out of this world fun with the all-new Space Night at the Museum Camp-in. It’s a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, reward a group or just have fun as a family. This event is from Friday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. to Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m.

This celestial celebration starts with an evening packed full of fun events. Guests can trace the history of rocketry from early experiments, through the space race and into the future as they enjoy the planetarium show, Rocketmen: A Brief History of Rocketry.  Several hands-on space themed workshops and a fun-filled dance party are also on the agenda before the night winds down with a delicious snack.

In the morning, guests will receive breakfast before visiting the Clay Center science galleries.  The event will wrap up with a chance to view the giant screen film The Alps, where they will journey to one of the world’s most celebrated, yet treacherous peaks to explore the beauty and uniqueness of the Swiss Alps.

Registration is required for Space Night at the Museum with a fee of $40 per person (children and adults). The event is designed for families and organized groups. Children must have parental/adult supervision. Call 304-561-3517 to register.  Deadline for registration is Friday, June 11.
