Clay Center introduces new and exciting summer workshops for adults

(Charleston, W.Va.) 6/30/10 – This summer brings an all new line-up of adult programming to the Clay Center. Starting in August, adults will have the chance to take part in workshops that showcase creativity and professionalism.

Summer adult workshops include:

• Clay Center Drawing Studio, Wednesdays, August 4, 11 & 18, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. –These open studio sessions will allow you to find inspiration from works on display, focus on a large still life and the final session will feature a live, clothed model to sketch. Some supplies provided, but participants are also invited to bring their own drawing tools and paper. A session leader will be on hand to offer advice and suggestions. Registration is $7 per person for each session.
• Outclass the Competition: Business Etiquette Seminar with Loren Smith, Saturday, August 21, 9 a.m. to noon – Enhance your professional skills and gain an edge in the business arena. From introductions and cultural awareness to mingling and more, learn how to distinguish yourself from the competition. Loren Smith is an International Corporate Etiquette and Protocol Consultant and a graduate of The Protocol School of Washington. Registration is $20.
