Hear the soulful voice of Mollie O’Brien and astounding instrumental talent of Rich Moore at the next show in the Clay Center’s Woody Hawley Concert Series. Experience jazz, blues, bluegrass and everything in between as this husband and wife duo come together for a remarkable show Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Walker Theater.
After 30 years of making music mostly apart, West Virginia native O’Brien and husband Moore are onstage in “a convergence of two musical minds and hearts.” Experience the magic of the delicate dance between singer and guitarist as their creative chemistry shines through in a show of original music, playful quips and collaborative energy.
Local acoustic folk duo Doug & Shelley Harper will open the show. With smooth harmonies, down-home charm and original songs, their relaxed style will put audiences at ease and leave them wanting more.
