Friends of Clay Center hosts second annual Derby-themed fundraising event
(Charleston, W.Va.) 4/15/10 – Dress in your finest, and make your way to Vandalia Grille to enjoy the big race with friends, food and fun. The Friends of Clay Center’s Derby Party takes place Saturday, May 1 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. All proceeds support the Clay Center’s educational endeavors.
Guests can savor delicious food, sip on divine drinks, and take part in special activities including a silent auction. Special prizes will go to the lady with the most-inspired hat and the gentleman with the best tie. Space is limited, so advanced reservations are recommended. Advance admission before April 26 is $40 per person, or $35 for Friends enrollees. Reservations may be made online at www.theclaycenter.org. All admission beginning April 27 is $45 per person.
The Derby Party is sponsored by Law Offices Allen Guthrie & Thomas, PLLC and Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka. Event chairs are Erica Baumgras, Rachael Cipoletti, Andrea Hinerman and Reenie Keeley.
