“Rat Pack” themed fundraiser is first Friends of Clay Center event for 2008
Popular Fidelio event benefits the Clay Center’s educational programs
(Charleston, W.Va.) January 17, 2008 – Partygoers can put on their costumes and dance the night away to Ol’ Blue Eyes, Dino, Sammy and more at the Friends of Clay Center Fidelio fundraiser on Saturday, January 26 at 9 p.m. in the Center’s Grand Lobby.
This year’s event features a new “Rat Pack” theme, along with legal beverages, cheeses, decadent desserts, and casino games. Vibrant costumes are traditionally the highlight of Fidelio, and guests are encouraged to be creative.
All proceeds from Fidelio benefit the Clay Center’s Avampato Discovery Museum and its educational programs for children and families throughout the state and region.
Advanced reservations are recommended. Advance admission before January 24 is $45 per person, or $40 for Friends enrollees. Reservations may be made online at www.theclaycenter.org. All at-the-door admission is $50.

Friends of the Clay Center is a membership support group devoted to the future of the Clay Center. Since its inception, the Friends organization has contributed over a half million dollars in much needed educational funding. Members are culturally interested, active professionals who support the Center through fundraising and volunteer activities. Membership in Friends is open to Clay Center members.
