Egg-citing fun at Clay Center’s annual Eggstravaganza family event March 27
(Charleston, W.Va.) 3/9/10 – It’s a day of egg-themed activities during the Clay Center’s Eggstravaganza family fun day on Saturday, March 27. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., this fun-filled day will feature egg hunts, egg relays, egg tosses, egg decorating and even a chance to visit the expert of it all – the Easter Bunny. Bring your family, bring your friends, but most of all bring your energy as you’re sure to be eggs-hausted by the end of this eventful day.
The schedule of events includes:
• Bunny Ears – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Spring Story Time and Puppet Show – 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
• Egg Decorating – noon – 4 p.m. (2 eggs for $1; supplies limited)
• Easter Bunny – noon, 2 and 4 p.m.
• Egg Relay Race – 12:30 p.m.
• Egg Hunts – (0 – 6 yrs) 1 and 3 p.m. (7 - 12 yrs.) 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
• Science Demonstrations – 1, 2 and 3 p.m.
• Egg Toss – 2:30 p.m.
• Bunny Hop and Chicken Dance – 4 p.m.
Guests should also be sure to visit the blockbuster exhibit Lost Kingdoms of the Nile: Nubian Treasures from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The exhibit is only on display through April 11 and features more than 200 rare artifacts dating from 3100 B.C.
